Lady Gaga

My final painting assignment for second semester..WOO HOO! The assignment was to create a piece based on the styles of Olaf Hajek, Chris Mars or Michael Harrington. I started off by doing a mixture of both Olaf and Chris since I LOVE colour (Olaf) and dark themes/morbid (Chris) however, after spending a whole day on the painting, it wasn't working at all. Gessoed over it and created this the day before it was due (it's actually due today FYI). I'm glad I chose to do a piece based on Olaf's style because really, colour is my best friend & what better subject than Lady Gaga (slightly obsessed with her atm). This is probably one of my fav Lady Gaga moments mainly because I love the Paparazzi video and that AMAZING yellow outfit, like seriously, how cute were the little faces?

Enough typing, I need to go hand it in now..hope it's a success
